STRAIGHT-A STUDENT ARNOLD SHIGOCHI DIES, LEAVING MASENO UNIVERSITY IN MOURNING
Maseno University and the Vihiga County Government Department of Education are mourning the sudden demise of Comrade Arnold Shigochi, a student at the institution.
Shigochi was an alumnus of Governor Wilber Ottichilo’s scholarship programme, which supports bright and deserving students from Vihiga County.
He had an impressive academic record, having scored a straight A at Kisumu Boys High School, where he emerged top of his cohort.
His academic excellence had marked him out as a promising scholar, making his sudden death a painful loss to his family, the university fraternity and the wider Vihiga community.
His passing has sparked mourning among those who knew him and followed his academic journey.
