Pauline Ruth Strengthens CS Bid Through Education Delegates Engagement
Pauline Ruth, an aspirant for the position of CS finance at Maseno University, has continued to expand her engagement with students and delegates after meeting representatives from the School of Education.
The strategic meeting, held at the Food Court, brought together School of Education delegates and the MUES Executive, led by Florence Oginga. The engagement provided a platform for Pauline Ruth to interact directly with delegates, listen to their perspectives, and discuss issues surrounding student representation and leadership.
The MUES Executive, under the leadership of Florence Oginga, assured Pauline Ruth of the support of the delegates and the wider MUES fraternity. The gesture is expected to strengthen her growing campaign as she seeks to secure the CS finance position.
The meeting lasted approximately three hours, giving participants sufficient time to deliberate on various matters concerning student leadership and representation. The extended engagement was viewed as an opportunity to build understanding, strengthen relationships, and establish a common platform between the aspirant and student representatives.
For Pauline Ruth, the School of Education engagement represents her second school-level meeting with delegates. It follows her earlier engagement with delegates from the Medical School through MEDSAM, signalling an expanding outreach strategy across different schools within the university.
Her continued meetings with school delegates come at a time when student leaders are increasingly turning to direct consultation as a way of building support ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The engagements also position Pauline Ruth as an aspirant focused on grassroots mobilisation and delegate-to-delegate interaction. By reaching out to different schools, she appears keen to establish a wider network of support while understanding the expectations of students across the university.
With the campaign season gathering momentum, further engagements with schools and student representatives are likely to shape the contest for the CS finance position
